Garry's Mod Keeps Minimizing

I'll be playing for a few minutes and all of a sudden, It minimizes. Just randomly. Please help!

You can do a lot of things. You can make the game windowed by the settings, if this doesn't work. Reïnstall the game.

I found out whats happens (To me at least) My game keep on minimizing and I had the event log opened in the background. When it minimized this time, the event log said that Avg "decided" to change some policy. This event has a source called UserPowerModeService. Now I don't know how to fix the minimizing... I still have to figure that out. But I thought I would share this to help anyone else along the way. If you don't have Avg and your gmod keeps minimizing... Then I can't help you.

i think i may have found the solution to your avg problem. If you launch up avg, go to menu, and click on 'do not disturb' then you can just select what games and apps you dont want to be disturbed on. note: i dont know if this is correct.
