Server addons are ruining my singleplayer game

So I love to play dark rp and sanbox games, but after a while of playing servers I now play single player with addons that i didnt download, addons that pretty much slow down the sandbox game and addons that record my time on them and also restrict my spamming of npc's to fight and its really starting to make me hate garry's mod, does anyone have a solution to this?

Just go to the workshop, click the subscribed tab, and delete the addons you dont want

Just go to the menu of Garry's Mod, click on Addons -> Disable All. And then enable just the ones you want to use.

Deleting them is better, that way they are off your computer, not just disabled

The problem is the fact that ive done that and it doesnt go away.

Try deleting or re-installing

This is usually the result of someone sneaking into your house at night and replacing your processor with an intel celeron. A good way to fix it is to download more RAM.

Go in your gmod local files, and delete the "downloads" folder.
