The files may be located in your steam directory in an area like this:
steamapps\workshop\content\4000
(4000 being the app id for garry's mod)
If you can't find the folder, right click on Garry's Mod in your steam library > Manage > Browse local files. Then go up in the file structure until you reach steamapps and work your way down to the 4000 folder.
All the addons will be in folders that match their workshop ID.
The files may also have very strange names like "new_item_via_crowbar.gma" or "temp.gma"
In order to find which .gma belongs to the addon you're looking for, you'll need to get the addon's ID number from it's Workshop page.
Here's an example of the addon I was trying to find:
(I broke this link on purpose so it won't embed)
steaommuniy. co/ sharedfiles/ filedetails/? id=2848654497
The weirdly named file in the folder whose name matches the string of numbers at the end of the workshop URL is the .gma you're looking for.
bro thank you
