So, using that site I see that my port forwarding doesn't work. And.. possibly never worked? I don't understand, then, how my past servers worked after I set up the port forwarding rules. I set up the rules for port forwarding in my router, yet these ports are not actually opened. Plus, for what it's worth I set myself as DMZ. Is there something else that could be interfering? Firewall, admin priviliges, anything?
The only ports I see opened are some ports for Skype, which I assume was always there since I have to go through my ISP's dashboard (Optimum) for the router instead of accessing the router settings directly myself.
Edit- it's something with my ISP, so once I get that resolved it might be fixed. If I don't reply it's obviously resolved :P
I can host 7 Days to Die and other *dedicated* servers just fine without Hamachi. For any HL2 based game, no one can join my dedicated servers unless we use a tool like Hamachi.
I am set up as the DMZ on my router settings (I have a static IP) AND I port forwarded 27000-27050 both UDP/TCP and still don't see a change. I'd appreciate any help on this.
