How to add lives in Deathrun?

Hey guys, I've been searching up this issue and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do this simple modification...

All I want to do is to be able to add LIVES in the game mode of deathrun without having to switch into Sandbox mode. Any help?

the gamemode itself has no feature for the "lives you speak of" also most maps are not scripted well enough to be able to support multiple lives....

also having lives kinda defeats the purpose of "DEATHrun"

you would have to code it yourself
