white squares

my game puts these white squares, on certain effects. such as gun smoke, smoke, etc

game mounts wont have a affect on this most of the time, i have all my games installed and mounted already and i verified the files but nothing was missing.

There are particle addons probably conflicting with each other

left for dead 2 special infected snpcs
left for dead 1 infected snpcs
left for dead 1 special infected snpcs

then uninstall them. it fixed for me
