Disconnect: Client 4 overflowed reliable channel. Please Help.

I have been trying to join my favorite server, however I keep getting this message after I join the server.

I have looked around but I couldn't find a fix, but I did find out that apperantly this message is a result of a server crashing script, but I have no way of proving this or even finding out in the first place. I have closed my game, verifyied game cache, and contacted the server owner. I'll keep trying to find a solution and post my progress here.

Edit 1: I have restarted steam and attempted to join another server, I was able to join another server without issue, however restarting steam had no effect and the issue persists.

I'm going to try reinstalling GMOD and after that my PC.

Edit 2: I have reinstalled my GMOD and the only diffrence was that instead of a 4 I got a 6. After that I restarted my computer and again the only diffrence was that of a number change from 6 to 16. I can't think of another way to fix this issue, so I'll just have to wait for a response by either someone here or an email from a mod. I'm going to make breakfast.

I didn't fix it, the issue was that the server was getting ddosed. can't help you man sorry.
