engine error,no steamUser. bug

i tried to launch gmod and every thing starts finbe and then after 1-2 seconds it crashes with there eror popping up saying:
"Engine Error
if steam family view is enabled, in order to continue:
-Garrys Mod must be allowed to be played
-you should disable or exit steam family view

if that dosent work,try the following:
-make sure steam is running
-make sure steam is up to date
-try launching garrysmod from steam client
-try reastarting you PC
-try deleting Clientregistry.blob & reastart steam
-try Garrys mod -> Deleting local content

pleas let us know if you salv this bug!"

iv tried all these things and no luck and have yet to find something about this on google so im going to steam.
plz give any advice you can on how to fix this!

no,i dont have any family viewed games exept for a friends copy of new vegas.

well, even though Garrys mod is not enabled for it, you should try disabling family view all together

completely disabled and still the same error,i have yet to try updateing my nividia drivers but i dont think it will work considering i just did less than a week ago for BF1

This is kind of a long shot, but maybe try starting Garrys mod in windowed mode. (right click on gmod, properties, set launch options, clear anything if there and type in, "-sw"

i originaly had "dxlevel-95" set for launch options because it would crash my game if i ever pressed ALT or tryed to open the console(it would not display a message or Error it would just crash)

update:
so after baisically getting tired of looking for a fix,i gave up for the night and went to bed putting my PC in sleep mode all night for abot 7 hours,when to school for about 11 hours(counting the time frome when i woke up a 5:30 to getting home at 4:00) and forgot about this whole mess and try to run gmod when it just starts up with no problem.
