(SOLVED) Physgun & Toolgun Major Problem

So lately I have been experiencing an issue on gmod where I can't pick up anything with my physgun or target anything with my toolgun on multiplayer. It works fine in singleplayer, but no matter what server I join, my physgun and toolgun won't work. It's not that there is any visible error with it in the console, and I tried uninstalling my game along with all my addons, still no luck. I have recognized this is not a server issue, but I am admin on 2 servers and this is really hindering my ability to do things. I have tried searching for problems like this, scrolling through all my settings, checking my mouse, and I cannot find a fix. If anyone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong here that would be much appreciated.


Edit: All I had to do was go into my options and go into window mode. Then go back into fullscreen. This should fix it.

goto video and MAKE SURE YOUR IN FULL SCREEN. Then you click windowed then click apply then go back to full screen apply and then click it works

I have the same exact problem but in singleplayer tho, tried the method stated in here but it didnt work sadly :((
