Cannot connect to any Gmod Server

So basically I have had this issue for around a year now and every time I join a server I am timed out the first time and then the second time I get a connection time out once joining and get timed out again for 300 seconds, this happens everytime I join a server so basically the game is unplayable now. Before you ask I have deleted and reinstualled the game countless times, verified the game cache hundreds of times, checked my firewall, antivirus, added ♥♥♥♥ to the console that is meant to work, basically I have tried EVERYTHING and am coming here in a final effort to fix my game, please help me.

My internet is fine, I am able to connect to multiplayer on various other games, this is exclusivelly an issue with the game and nothing hardware based

what type of anti virus software do you have? and do you have HL2?

I have malwarebytes and I don't have HL2 but I did instal the game files for HL2 seperately to remove pink and black textures ages ago, that won't be the issue as that was done years ago when I bought the game

theres the problem, Malwarebytes is known to cause problems with servers Including gmod. try disable the anti virus and check if the servs work

Game Server Browser Ping Rate

If you have connection problems when you open the Steam server browser, try turning the Game server browser: max pings / minute setting to the minimum, then re-test the issue. If that resolves the problem you are seeing, try testing at higher rates until you find the highest rate that doesn't cause a problem.

deleted malwarebytes and it is still not working

I will try this now as it was at 5000 which is the highest so maybe I will have some luck who knows

Okay so I did that and it worked last night at 5AM and now this morning it isn't working again
