My console logs. Ask you can see, the text "Download Finished Error downloading file! [53]" reccurs a lot in that. Every time I try to log onto GMod, it has the same 89 (now changed to 87) addons downloading. Restarting does nothing and re-installing does nothing. I have yet to remove all .gmas and try that, though.

Things I have noticed:

A few of these files (only five) have turned into .outdated or .gma.outdated.
No-one else has these issues on my friend's list
Searching solutions for this on any website or brower results in nothing. Although, I did find a similar error called Error 37, but that thread had no solution so I'm checking it every day.

The issue I'm going to guess is that these addons are outdated for the current Garry's Mod version. Are you sure you have the latest Gmod version and that the addons you are trying to install are compatible with the current version?

It's saying it cant mount them so I'm going to agree with your guess. I'll quickly check if I'm on the latest version. Also, these addons were part of a content pack on a semi-popular private roleplay group so I'd assume they work.

Huh... I re-installed all my GMAs but... they all now have error 53? nevertheless, I'll wait until they're complete and wait and see

KY friend KillerSam is a legend and he fixed it. All that I needed to do was clean up my harddrive. You see, my steam is on an external "I" drive so I looked past the C drive. But, he said that all addons run though the C drive so, if I'm out of space my addons are unable to reach my USB port and thus end up in my trusty I drive.

RESOLVED. USE THIS IF YOU HAVE THIS PROBLEM
