Working with Gmod and 3dsMax
Hi Team,
I am a teacher and a huge NOOB i am trying to import models from Garys mod into 3ds max (and later hopefully export stuff back again). I think I am totally missing something here.. all the tutorials talk about having a mod folder for counterstrike or team fortress.. I just want access to the sandbox area in gmod.
I have tried to download the source SDK multiplayer 2013, have played around with various tutorials but I am getting lost when I am trying to config the pathways for wormwall.. I did get it to work once with the smashball mod for team fortress, but I cant even get that to work again because it was a total fluke and I do not understand what I did to make it go.
Please give me some pointers.. ideally I would like the class to be able to download assets for garysmod, like cars and stuff from the menu in Gmod, and then open them up in 3ds max, make modifications and then export them back into the engine.
