Need help weight painting a player model !
I made a player model, everything seems to be working, but now I need to fix some weight painting issues. The fingers look like they're inverted, they're going inside the hand. Any tips on how fingers should be weight painted? All the tutorials I found online just skip the hands or do a lazy job on them. Meanwhile, I'll be using trial and error to see what works. Thanks in advance.

I'd also like to say I'm using blender, if it matters.

The way you would want to weight paint is to have the weight on each bone overlap at least a little bit of the area designated on the next bone, and then to do this on every finger.
Ideally, where the bones are located, that's where you want to share weight paint between the bone prior to the bone in question, as well as * that* bone.
As for your fingers being "inverted", select the mesh that includes the fingers, then open Edit Mode.
From there, hit "N" and toggle "backface culling" ON from the new list of options and see if the issue is actually shown there. If it is, toggle it back OFF, now specifically select the part of the mesh that gets inverted and press CTRL + N.
This will invert what is considered inside/outside of the mesh. If nothing happens, toggle the "inside" option within the command to "ON" and it will be flipped.

For future questions involving Blender and 3D issues, consult the Blender Forums instead, as there are very talented people there that would love to help you.
