Report a translation problem
it still doesn't work. When i invite them though the windows panel on the overlay it doesn't show that i sent them an invite. The join game button also doesn't work
Try verifying integrity of game cache by going to your Library -> Right click GMod -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
If that doesn't work after inviting your friends, try going back to the GMod properties and click Set Launch Options and type: -noworkshop
If that still doesn't work, go to your Windows firewall and disable all 3 domains temporarily and invite them. If it works then re-enable your Windows firewall and we can work from there.

That's bizarre, have you tried completely reinstalling GMod? Like even going to the steamapps common folder and deleting it there too & making sure it's uninstalled via the Steam library too?
The host and everyone joining, enter that in console. Because I assume everyone involved needs it.
