Well I got the IP from the command prompt thing on my computer and put the IP into google and logged in as admin that’s where I’m stuck.

I’m afraid I don’t have a discord but if it helps I can guide you to the videos i watched to give you some more insight Telus has a bit of a different system for port forwarding than other services.

Repeat what the first video has at around 3 minutes, however do it like this:

Select LAN Device: Your IP
External WAN: 27015
Internal WAN: 27015
External LAN: 27015
Internal LAN: 27015

Set the protocol to TCP,

then do the SAME thing again but select UDP next time. You'll end up with two port forward rules, one being TCP and the other UDP. It should work then.

Unfortunately that hasn't worked any other suggestions?

Could you send a screenshot of the port forwarding you've done?

it could be possible that youre router is running on ipv6.. that makes it impossible for you to portforward and you will have to host your server via a website or something like this or you could hope that steamcmd adds and ipv6 support.. that is very unlikely thoi

You can still host servers with IPv6

Can you add me and send me your IP to see if I can connect? There's a possibility it's either your Windows Firewall or your router is having problems with NAT Translation, which is where if you try to connect to your own services your router normally should translate your WAN -> LAN to LAN -> LAN.

I’ll add you when I get the chance then we can sort this out
