Low quality NPC models?

So, I recently discovered that some of the NPC's I have in Garry's Mod have lower quality clothing models. I'm pretty sure they were more detailed when I played Half-Life 2. Is there a solution to this? And yes, the texture quality/detail is up on high, so I am not sure what else it could be. Any suggestions?

Try typing in console command "mat_picmip -1"

What's your computer specs? Probably improper graphics settings if you have AMD or NVIDIA.

I'm not sure. But I have downloaded quite a few addons, and I tried uninstalling them, but to no avail.
