Can't connect to servers

[Teapot Error 418]

Whenever I connect to a server on Gmod, when it finishes loading I get booted back to the main menu screen. No pop ups or anything, just back to main menu. I will note that I could join 1 server [even though it immediately timed out] for a bit, it was a sandbox server using a vanilla gmod map, if that helps at all. This problem wasn't occuring 2 days ago and now I cant join nearly any server. If its of any note there was a large storm before and it took out the internet for a while but now its back up. I'll continue to try to connect to servers but so far only 1 has worked.
1. I have cs source mounted.
2. I verified app cache
3. I unsubscribed from all addons.
4. I reinstalled gmod
5. I restarted my computer
6. I tried booting up singleplayer [works fine]
7. I tried running another steam game and coming back to gmod.

If anyone can help me, please, I need to fix it, also put

Into my Gmod files in the correct place, it still didnt help, and I've also verified my app cache after deleting my addons, maps, and lua
