How to make loading time Faster

I need help having the startup of garry's mod to be faster, it takes forever but i dont want to remove my 200 Something mods.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

No, Gmod immediately loads all the addons that you have. If you want slow loading times, you have to remove addons and also why you have 200 addons ?!!?!?

I have 504.
It only takes me around 1 minute to load Gmod and 2 mins to load singleplayer on an almost full HDD. My SSD in my other computer is probably only 30 seconds faster.

I have 1137 and I load just in 5 minutes.

try run this: (warning removes EVERY ADDON)

There is a few ways, Some work more then others...

So, Use a SSD for loading up games, This one might not be a option for you but I though I would put it here anyways.

Next Option, Most effective option..

Right click on your taskbar when on your desktop, then click on "Task Manager"
Once on that there is a little button down the bottem that says "More Details" Click it..
Now up the top there is a "Details" button click on that and fine the Garrys Mod app.
It might be called "hl2.exe", Now right click on it and press "Set Priorty" and press "High" this will make sure your RAM and CPU should run faster therefor making the game load and run better, this may make your system parts get a tad hotter.

Best Option #2 Unsub from your addons (I know you dont want to but this is a fix)

I have approximately 3,500 workshop items that I'm still trying to lower but I'm bad at decisions and so it's taking me a while so I take 5 to 10 minutes to load in GMod in general

oof i only have like idk 500 or less and it feels like 5 minutes all doe its 1 minute but still its really pissy when i'm playing half life 1 or half life 2 maps
