Crosshair is gone, nothing's helping.

A couple weeks ago, my crosshair completely disappeared from the game. After many many reinstalls and fixing my addons it still isn't there. I tried crosshair 1, cl_drawhud 1, reinstalling fonts, verifying my game cache. NOTHING. I also noticed that my photon lighting is messed up as it is invisible from some angles.

hud_draw_fixed_reticle 1. This wont fix it but it will give you a neat yellow circle near enough to be a crosshair. I had a problem on my server with crosshairs and I couldn't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to solve the problem as I just suspected it was an addon problem I didn't care about. It actually makes people use the sights on guns! Anyway, type hud_draw_fixed_reticle 1 in console and it should fix your problem.

command console "crosshair_setup" and click "reset crosshair"
It will reset your crosshair to default

In case anyone finds this info useful, the addon No More Room in Hell Military & Police Weapons (and literally not any other NMRIH addon from that user) was causing my crosshair to completely disappear, whether I select the white dot or the Half-Life 2 crosshair, only addons that have their own custom crosshairs had their crosshairs intact and visible:

I had a add on installed that makes 3rd person possible changing a setting “show default crosshairs” fixed it hope this helps


Btw the mod is called “simple 3rd person
