In need of some critical help, (Hammer Editor issue) CS:S textures no lighting.
I have made a Murder map called md_hotelmurder and the map has a mix between HL2 and CS:S (cs:s is more important than HL2 textures.).

At the start, I wasn't using CS:S textures, but I decided ''Yeah, since Murder requires CS:S I may as well use them.'' And changed some textures and built the rest of the world in CS:S's hammer.exe. I tested the map in CS:S and not GMOD for quite some time, but when I completed the map, I loaded md_hotelmurder in GMOD's hammer.exe and majority of the textures were white and some props were red errors, assuming this wasn't a massive deal, I compiled it, no errors.

Then when I actually got into the map, the outside of the map was fine (They are all HL2 textures.) but as soon as I entered the house that was infront of the player's spawn, ALL CS:S textures were GLOWING.

I tried EVERYTHING that I thought would fix it, nothing. And now I am here, thinking I had spent 3 days making this nice and intense murder map which turned out to be a disaster at the end.

I would do anything for a fix, solution, a way around, yeah...

You mean CS:S? Load a map from gmod into CS:S hammer.exe.

confused. lol
I don't think you have GMod's Hammer set to recognize CSS content. The reason the textures were glowing is because, to GMod's Hammer, they were missing textures, and missing textures tend to glow in Source.

You would have been completely fine if you hadn't run it through GMod's Hammer.

Aw, so I lost the map completely? Is there a fix?

Just re-compile it in CSS's Hammer and it should work fine in both CSS and GMod.
