How to allocate gmod more ram?

So I was wondering how to allow more ram to be used gmod on mac as it keeps crashing when it is limited to the default 2.5GB.

-Xms is Java, -heapsize 4096000 would be 4GB of ram, anything above won't work since Source Engine is 32bit.

1080 ti and 32gb of ram i get the memory error and gmod is only using 2gigs of ram so a "real computer" doesnt fix it

It isn't going to really help with your FPS either way, the developers said it'll probably just reduce crashing when loading into addon stuffed DarkRP servers lol

I would hold back on using the 64-bit for a bit when it comes to multiplayer, a lot of server owners are unaware that they have to tune their anticheats and it'll ban you for having a non-standard client.

You're proud of your PC and you want to tell people about it is all, nothing wrong with that. How does it do in most games? Those 1080 ti's are pretty valuable nowadays since NVidia stopped producing them
