Garry's Mod Zombie Survival Points Help Hells Gamers Sever

I've just gotten back into playing Gmod Zombies on the Hell's Gamers server after a couple years off because I didn't have a computer powerful enough to run it properly. Trying to run that game on a Mac laptop isn't very practical. Now I am watching videos of people playing nowadays and they have like 50,000 points to spend, while in every Match I play I only ever start out with 100-150 points. Do these people just not spend their points and save them or do they have some rewards thing going with HG.com? Anyone who can shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated!

I know this post is most likely dead but ive been playing HG for years. I have about 120k and I have gotten most of that from just buying a hammer or medkit and just heal or repair the props. I always use the traits that you can use in the starting menu to make it so when I buy ammo, nails, or medic power, it gets more of it for my points or makes my weapons attack faster. If you dont know Were that is then dont worry as I did to for the longest time. When you start a game as a human and the menu pops up, use the mouse wheel to move to the left and you will have more options. I also take part in events at night that can get you hundreds of points at a time. Hope this helps as alot of people have this problem.
