Weapon Issues

Ok, so I've been having some minor problems with one of the weapons you start out with and a texture for one of the pick-ups in game and I need some help figuring out what is causing them and how to fix them.

Also, I cannot find out if anyone else has this issue. I've asked friends and searched the internet, even checked Steam. I have found nothing that helps.

The First Problem

For one, I'm having this little issue with the Revolver (.357). You see, it never has the proper texture it should have. Instead of looking like it's supposed to like in the Half-Life games, it either has it pure silver model on it, or this weird yellow and/or purple skin on the sides of it. That's really it, it's merely a problem with the model of the gun. I've looked into some of my addons and deleted a few that I thought were causing the problem, but to no avail. I've also tried downloading reskin addons for it like a black version, this red skin where it's a crimson-colored cyborg reskin or something like that, and a golden version (doesn't even look gold, more like piss yellow), to cover it up. They did work when I first downloaded them, but when I quit the game and started playing again, the skin is gone and it's the same annoying problem with the gun model. I don't like the way it looks. At all. And I'm getting tired of having it look like that. I just want the original model for it. I don't know if this is a general problem or if an addon is causing it, but if you know what is causing this, please let me know.

The Second Problem

Ok, so the second problem might be the cause of an addon, but I'm still not entirely sure. So it's with the Pulse Rifle (AR2). Now, nothing is wrong with the gun model like with my Revolver. I have a remake addon for it and it looks really nice on it. The problem is with the ammo texture for it: it's black and purple. A classic missing texture plagues the model for the pulse ammo. Yeah, looks ugly when I'm playing on a map or gamemode with it laying around somewhere. No other ammp pick-ups have this issue, just the pulse ammo. It just sticks out and no-one should suffer to missing textures. Anyway...

Hi, I see you're trying to fix your gun textures. here's what you do, disable all of your addons and join one of Gmod default maps. Enable one of your addons one by one to see who the culprit is. If that doesn't work, try verify game cache. if that still doesn't work, maybe try and buy HL2/ep1/ep2 and CSS and mounted into Gmod. If that doesn't work, try uninstall Gmod, exit steam, rejoin steam, reinstall Gmod.
