Oh and by the way how many workshop addons do you have? if you have a ridiculous amount that can make your game run crudy. Gmod has a 2048 lua limit.
If you have water cooling, it would be highly beneficial to overclock your CPU. Bringing it up to 4ghz would likely yeild a minimum FPS increase of 15-20%. This is easy obtainable.
Whats posted above I suppose. Glad it helped. That multicore precessing switch in game options doesnt actually work but to turn it on that command has to be entered. Which is why it says dont complain if your game gets unstable. Happy playing.
Yes. Typing in the command without a number should tell you default value.
This also makes it easier to revert by simply just deleting the command in launch options.
