Commands don't work on a server. What to do ?

I'm really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helpless right now. I hope someone can help me. I've contacted three Admins and a Develepor of the server and they we're either too lazy or really couldn't help me. The exact problem is: I can't use any commands like /ooc /me (for roleplaying purposes) and /f (for contacting everyon in the facility. Yeah it's SCPRP) By the way commands like @ to contact the Admins or /p work for some Reason.

I've tried: reinstalling and clearing the gmod folder. Clearing the server folder in the downloads folder. restarting/rejoining. and deleting and unsubbing from any addons.

1) - Try this first, on the DarkRP forum there was this comment, resolving it for some:

" You don't by any change have ULX with CUSTOM COMMANDS addon installed on the server ? The custom commands has a file that overrides the default DarkRP chat tags etc and it will make them not show Advert ooc pm etc.

You can go into the custom commands file and simply delete the Chattags file or what it is called, that should solve the problem. "

If this doesn't work, try this!

2) - This may be an issue with FAdmin I believe I've had a similar issue in the past. I just deleted FAdmin as the staff didn't need it.

I think this applys to servers and not an individual case and if im wrong i dont think thats my problem because i've cleaned the garrys mod foler before. Can you tell me where these files are anyway ?

So this is a clientside problem? You cannot use /me on any servers?

- Also the ulx custom commands would be in addons/customcommands or something similar might be under modules in the ulx folder

Not on any Server only on that specific one

This is new to me, very strange. Seems clienside, but only on the one server. I'm afraid I cannot help, sorry :(

God ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dammit. How the ♥♥♥♥ can it be that of every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guy who plays gmod this happnes to me and noone can ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ help me. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ developer of gmod probably cant even help.

The developer of the server likely will not be able to help unless they have firsthand dealt with the problem, having developed multiple gamemodes around the DarkRP base, and owned communities prior, I have never had, nor been approached by this problem, sorry once again, if you find an answer, let me know!

Oh God. I just checked. You have 2000 hours on gmod and can't help me. This Server is doomed for me.

I play on Concordia as well. But now to the answer: i occasionally try it again and it never works and i dont think validating does anything because i cleaned the folder a few days ago.

Now bear with me here. I have steam on both my harddrive and my external hard drive. My external is damaged, and when I play, I get those chat issues and other glitches like feeding, massive FPS drops, broken chat messages that never go away. When I play on my internal drive, I get none of these issues.

My point is that your hardware might be faulty. If the reinstall of gmod doesn't work, it's safe to assume it is your PC that is failing you

I've reinstalled before but i can try again. And the thing with the hard drive i can try installing it on the other one but i dont think thats the problem because on all other servers it works
