Garrys Mod: Internet Connection Crash

So when I open up Gmod and go to view the servers Everything loads in. Then 10 seconds after, my connection is shut down on every single device in my house. Eventurally it comes back, but after 5 minutes. Firefox I get a connection error, Netflix I get a connection error, everything except my skype call. This is an annoying problem I can't keep because I have people here using the same internet connection.
Things I Have Tried
1. Reinstalling gmod
2. Deleting ALL my addons
3. Restarting PC
4. Restarting Gmod

I really dont know what to do. Could be my connection service OR Could just be GMod
P.S. This happens in no other game I own

Me too... recently... i dont have any idea for why...

Steam Settings > In-Game Tab > In-Game Server Browser: Max pings / minute
Lower it (try 500 instead of 5000)

I lowered it to 500 and It seems like it worked, but it was too slow so I raised the number up to 1500. I could try to go to 3000, but I'm just gona still with 1500. Thanks this worked for me
