delete dupes???

i have a bunch of dupes i dont want anymore does anyone know how

dupes are local files that you can find at the garrysmod/dupes directory.

They are numbered with gibberish so there's no particular identification you can do with them in the file browser by itself, but they are a pair of dupe file and thumbnail image. View thumbnails to identify dupes and delete the dupe of the same name.

You should know where the steam directory is.

[C:\ or D:\]Program Files[might be x86]\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\dupes

What are you talking about?

oh right, probably a linux or a mac system. there are still game files but the steam directory might be somewhere else. But you should still have learned a long time ago where your steam directory is

hover your mouse cursor over the dupe you want to delete and you'll see a button that says delete

I never done this before but disable steam cloud before removing the old dupes that you dont want. Make sure to backup the addons you have before unistall gmod. And reinstall it and enable steam cloud-.
