Can't join friends playing

Mac user here summing up my problem. My friends and I use Hamachi and it has worked fine. One friend port forwards and that goes fine as well. We use the console command to connect to each others servers and that has always worked fine.

Well today (using Hamachi) the console command didn't work no matter how much we tried it. So my friends went to the server host's steam profile and selected join game and for them it worked fine. For me it didn't. They said nothing popped up and they connected straight away but for me it popped up with the window in the link below. I tried directly connecting to the host's IP address with the console command. Another person tried hosting and the exact same results.
I haven't tried hosting it myself or playing with the friend who port forwards.
Anyone know what could be wrong? Or a possible fix?

Why are you using hamachi? You couldn't connect possibly because your firewall was blocking Garry's Mod for some reason. Are you actually using the right IP address, and not the hamachi one?

You can do it without hamachi,here are the steps:
1.Make a game of sanbox (or what gamemode you want) and set it to 2 or more players.
2.Press SHIFT+TAB find your friend click the little arrow next to his name and tap invite to game.
3.He needs to accept,and that's it,he will be able to join your server :D
This is how i do it.

If your friend gets disconnected while loading:
1.He dosen't have the addons that the creator of the server has.
2.Just reconnect and it should work.
