How long did it take for you to download Gmod?
Okay, so today I got a new laptop after not having one for six months(old one broke). I haven't used it much yet but it's already better than the old one (this one is a gaming laptop, the old one wasn't).

Anyway, after installing Steam, I decided to install Gmod first.

It's taking a while.

I understand it's a big game and that I have a lot of addons, but it seems to be downloading slowly, more than thenough first time.

But I'm wondering if anyone else's game took forever to install.

THe old laptop would take a while too.

I just remembered that my sister is also downloading a game on here too(It's not a steam game) so it's probably slowing things down just a bit, but it was already slow before she started.

On another note, I kinda wish Steam would let me download more than one game at once.

It could be the computer doing something in the background or your neighbours stealing your Wi-Fi. It's definitely not the game.

Well, in the few hours since I posted this, it went from 50% to 77%, and my sister's game is downloading in the background as well as another game.

I know it's not a good idea to download multiple things at once, but I'm just so impatient and six months without Gmod is too long for me :P

But Gmod just stopped due to an error, so now it's downloading Portal. Maybe I should just make a queue and have them install overnight. By the time I wake up they might be done.
