Random Snuggling Girls anime gif spray with brand new garry's mod user??

My friend just downloaded steam and Garry's Mod today and accidentally sprayed a wall and it was some sort of snuggling anime girls gif. It was this one actually

Not mad it was hilarious actually, just genuinely want to know how the heck it couldve gotten this onto his sprays without even knowing sprays even existing, i've read other very sparce and rare cases of this happening and all of them have been with this same exact spray, I wonder if anyone can get to the bottom of these shenanigans.

He must've added it in or some sort of addon, never heard of this happening with any sort of spray.

well, that would be my first guess too, except I was in the same room as him when he downloaded it and had to show him how to set up a server. In fact checking now, he doesnt have any of the default sprays at all when looking in the drop down menu he only has "spray" and "thesnuggle" in the list

this guy seems to have had the same exact glitch with the same exact spray happening to him ( we havent tried actually changing the the spray yet though) except it was almost 2 years ago... coincedence?

No it was just wiped, it was given to him by someone else and he just bought and played Garry's Mod today

He literally only has 2 games in his library, Expendabros and Garry's Mod

were currently doing a computer search on his computer to find where the heck thesnuggle is even located in

what? no it doesnt, it can run just fine without any source games installed, it just doesnt load some materials from half life 2, episode 2, counter strike source, etc.

Anyways we found it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\vgui\logos\ui

and strange enough it said it was made at 12:10 AM even though it was clearly there and used before that since this thread is over an hour long...

This is definetly stupidly strange, I wouldnt blame you guys for not believing us, but at least here would be some documentation on it just in case this happens to someone else

has there been any fix to this problem? because ive ben having the same problem. I had my normal spray working fine eariler then i saw this in there. ive tried deleteing any trace of it but it allways stays. this means i can nolonger change my spray. any help on how to get rid of this would be much appreciated
