HELP!MY GMOD FREEZES MY COMPUTER

I need help.When i am finishing loading my newly installed addons on the main menu,the computer freezes the screen and i can´t do anything.Not even Control+Alt+Delete.I have to shut off the pc and restart it,it is the only way.Please hlep me. :(

I just bought my new laptop in Easter,in mid-April.The problem is fixed now,i had too many add-ons.Thanks anyway.

Uninstall all addons re download gmod

Try cutting short on your subscribed items on your Garry's Mod. Garry's Mod can have serious lagging/freezing issues if you have too many subscriptions, now if you reach a certain number of subscriptions on your game it has a very high chance of crashing

No,i tried waiting a few minutes.There is really no choice but to shut it down.I can't even use the Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

people have asked too many times about specs when he has already listed what laptop he has, it doesn't take much to google that laptop to find out the specs.

even then the specs don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matter. its mostly just people trying to act like they know what they're doing by asking a generic question

1. remove some useless addons, the more addons you have, the more things that need to be loaded, which means you will run out of system resources that the game can utilise and can probably end up giving you the issue you're facing now

2. make sure you close any background programs that you dont need open. If you use an anti-virus, i would remove this entirely because now-a-days you dont really need it because it just uses so much of your system resources and windows defender (or mac equivalent) does an amazing job anyways

over 600 addons and i still dont crash m8

Agreed.I have 674 to be precise.But over 714 and i started having problems.

Well i do have AVG,and i have removed the most useless addons i had.I went from 714 down to 674.I also want to get TuneUp Utilities so i can get rid of most of the garbage on my phone.
