Opaque Portals???
I just installed Portal on this PC and all my portals,blue and yellow, are opaque - you cant see through them. This makes the game, lets just say , really challenging! Portal works fine on my notebook at home, so I'm not sure what is wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

Check Portal's rendering depth. If that's not it. Post screen shot.

Do you have two portals open? If not then they WILL be opaque.

My portals are opaque no matter which settings I choose (rendering depth 0 - 5). Does anybody know how to get transparent portals?

downgrade your nvidia graphic driver that was my problem :DDD
