Portal Crash- Test Chamber 19 sewer area

I keep encountering a crash in the loading zone past the fan/vent area in chamber 19, I've tried doing it legit multiple times and even no cliped into the area to see if it was an issue and both times it fully crashes my game and forces me to go to the desktop. I am completely stuck on this chamber as a result.

i have the same problem during the sabing loads you cant finish the game

you can enable r_classic_fire 1 to fix this bug for the time being

same here too, have tried lowering everything even playing in windowed. nothing works

A crash like this doesn't allow you to play. I hope they fix it. I did the same thing, but to no avail.

An update has been released for Portal.

- Roll back previous update while fixing an endgame crash.

this was the latest update note, havent tried yet but looks like they fixed it

tried it, the game crashed. then gave me an update and when i launched it sent me back to like a couple of rooms in all the save files so now i have to make my way back to the sewer

it actually worked for me, i got past the sewer loading
