Are you sure you have removed all of the game files by right clicking the game entry in the library list and selecting "Delete local content" and then reinstalled the game?
Folders and files being named 'hl2' is normal so don't worry about that. I believe it's because the Half Life and all the Source games use the same engine and are a part of the "OrangeBox" series so it's all somehow connected.
Since Portal Unity is installed inside the portal folder, erasing it should've taken care of that too. We are perplexed at this point.
PS. I should also add, this is not limited to a computer, this is happening in two computers where we have all those cheats/mods installed.
At this point I have no idea if he typed "Unbind_all" into the console, but I do know he was experimenting with all the codes he saw in the web.
He does not have a Joystick, so I went to the "Keyboard" settings and Reset everything to Default. IT WORKED FINALLY!
I have no idea whether he did this in the settings or the console (is that even possible in the console)? I did not see "Unbind_all" anywhere so I am guessing he didn't use it. I warned him about it though, and he says he will be very careful with the console from now on.
Thanks guys!!!
