How to invert axis on a gamepad?

How do I invert the Y axis on a gamepad? It used to work before the steam deck update.

This worked for me:
Go to the game properties in the Steam library, go to Controller and disable steam input.
Then, from within the game options, enable the gamepad, and the checkbox to invert the axis should work now.
