Portal using Half life 2 maps Errors everywhere

I moved my HL2 maps to portal. I did this so I could play hl2 with a portal gun, Im able to load the maps but most of the walls, floors, npcs, and sound from hl2 does not appear the textures are missing Textures.
Anyway to move the textures from hl2 to portal so they show up?

Maybe.

Create a folder here and name it "custom"
Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Portal \ portal

Go to this folder
Steam \ SteamApps \ common \ Portal \ hl2

Copy every VPK file inside this folder and paste them in the "custom" folder you created.

Open the game, load the maps and see if it works.

Sadly, I tried doing that but it just crashes, it shows the title screen picture but blurred because its loading, and then when it would probably load the title buttons, it might be a file inside the .vpks like a titlescreen model or either a font or something. It also crashes with no error message.

Ok, this time try moving the maps to the "custom" folder.
