How to limit fps?

Even setup on NVidia Control Panel, don't work. Neither on rtss.

Surely this is bug but "background APP max frame rate" can limit FPS in this game.

There is an option to change the game's framerate limit from within the developer console, which can be accessed by pressing the ` key in-game. Just type in "fps_max n", and replace the n with the framerate you want the game to be displayed at. Unfortunately you would have to set this every time you launch the game, because the maximum framerate defaults back to 300 when the game is started.

If pressing the ` key doesn't open the console, it would have to be enabled by either checking the "Enable developer console" option in the game settings, or typing in "-console" without quotations in the game's advanced launch options in Steam.

To limit the frame rate "permanently", use the launch option:
+fps_max 60

To go back to the default 300 fps limit, delete the launch option and restart the game.

Alternatively, you can do "fps_max 60" in console then "host_writeconfig" to then save it to the config.cfg which can be found in ...\steamapps\common\Portal\portal\cfg

i dont have config.cfg only config_default.cfg
