Crazy visual glitches on my RTX 3070

Just setting aside how horribly it runs (it struggles to get 30fps at 1080p), it's like textures are jumping around on the screen. I thought it might have something to do with DLSS 3.0, but turning that off didn't seem to fix the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: If anyone experiences this, restart your computer. Performance drops still happen regularly but seem to be fixable by restarting Portal.

I'm getting between 50 and 70 fps with the RTX 3070 (chamber 2) and no glitch. The only settings I changed was to turn off motion blur and DLSS = Balanced.

MSI Afterburner doesn't work with this game :(

I also have strange visual artifacts and wasnt able to get rid of them even playing around with all settings in developer settings.

I installed the new required driver before starting Portal, but didn't restart the system. I than had the glitches. I just restarted the whole system and now the glichtes are gone.

I've had some glitches when using a modded autoexec.cfg.
I removed it and the glitches went away.

This fixed it for me too.

I will say, the game performance would drop significantly after awhile. I was able to consistently fix it by reloading the game.

I had the same series of symptoms, first portal complained of needing a newer driver then after updating nvidia the game had glitches, reboot PC and havent had any issues since, well other than the game having the most demanding ray tracing i've seen to date (3060 Ti). DLSS is definitely a must.

im getting at lest 60 fps on my 3070
press alt+x and lower settings a bit
and if you mena the dots, then its motion blur, turn it off
