i just discovered this xbox exclusive portal game called portal: still alive

and im just wondering what the story was about the game

Indeed, just some extra levels. Some of the achievements are different, but that's about it.

There is a mod that adds it to PC:

As long as you install it properly it will show up as a separate game in your Steam library, but it will apply any hours spent in the game to Portal.

It is a version of Portal made for the XBox, but you could find a mod for PC that gives you those levels, if you want them.

It's an expansion pack made for the Xbox 360 - more levels, more achievements etc.

Offline games don't "die", portal will still be "alive" until the end of the times, just like paintings in a museum

Basically there's no difference in the story. The only difference the games overall is that there's a few extra maps.
