Can someone tell me how to get into this vent?

Basically, i'm bad at puzzle games, and i'm not sure how to get into this one vent? After you finish the tests, and there's some kind of bot launching rockets at you. Can someone smarter than me tell me how.

I usually go back to the room with the rocket guy and grab a chair. It never occurred to me to pop the cube tube. Honestly I knew what vent you meant before I ever even saw the picture. I get stuck here for a solid few minutes every play through.

With the use of the rocket turret and portals,

reditect the shot rocket into the cube tube. After that, a cube with drop out of it.

Thank you! I've been stuck here for several minutes. Funny thing is, that one of the first things I tried, and it didn't work multiple times. guess I'm doing something wrong.
