How do I turn down GLaDOS?

I have Portal on the orange box for the xbox 360 and I just beat it today so I decided to play on the computer. GLaDOS is so loud. Why is she so loud. I tried to turn down the game volume but then everything else is quiet. So I want to know if there is a way to lower her voice volume.

I already have the music muted because I don't like it. It didn't change her voice.

It seems like Portal isn't a good game for you. The music makes the atmosphere. Seems like you're just playing it to get through it.

The music is annoying. And I like to listen to music on youtube when I play.

This is the most useless piece of advice I've ever read with my own two eyes. They said that GLaDOS is too loud, not the music. I have no clue where you could've POSSIBLY read that they wanted to turn down the music in this post.

Portal isn't the game for you, you should try normal FPS games, those are good for this type of thing. I take it you're here because you like Half Life?

Portal isn't a very good game to play music over, it isn't as fun without the hopeless and alone atmosphere. It really adds to the game. The puzzles aren't really a part that stands on its own as they're all incredibly easy. Custom music is great for speedrunning though. Overall it just boils down to opinion but it just doesn't seem like Portal is a game you can fully enjoy and get your moneys worth out of.

I don't give a crap about the stupid atmosphere. The music blows. I prefer listening to some good Quenn or AC/DC when playing not the music Portal has. So what your saying is the dumbest crap ever. And you were saying what the other guy said was useless.

Why would you gatekeep portal? its a cool game with a great mechanic and awesome story, but the mans just trying to play the game his way.
