what do people do after finishing the game?

I've just finished in 3 hours (no achievements)
I see people in my friendslist with 300 hours on this game... what the hell are they doing? what is else is there to do?

Personally when I've finished Portal for the first time in 2011 I didn't touch the game until a year and a half...

This is the kind of game that is short but replayable when you're bored (or feeling nostalgic)

I would advice you to start directly in the 13rd test room (the first where you have the double portal gun) because the room before are basically tutorials

I played it through the first time ignoring the radios and cameras, and once I was finished I immediately played it again to get the frequency achievement with the radios and to knock all the cameras off the walls. It was somewhat like playing another game with different objectives.

You could mess with the developer console if you're careful enough, or if you're really fast, you could speedrun. I heard Portal is the 8th most played game in the speedrun community.

The game is quite replayable. I don't play 3D games much, but this one is a gem that never gets old. I don't like speedrunning, because it ruins the experience of any game for me. I hope that next Portal game will be like this one without much plot and narration like Portal 2 had, because it doesn't need that. It's just fun with all the unknown and focus on puzzles.
