the sounds the musics at the background is just scary even fov makes you afraid and im not even talking about the turrets,the cubes or the portal sounds.they're just depressive as hell and that makes me uncomfortable + the elevators and elevator's sounds makes even scarier

I agree the transmission received achievement is what gave me freaky dreams for weeks I don't know I guess the thought of a schizophrenic guy walking around seeing things and drawing on the walls was pretty ominous

Try Room series. Especially Room 2 and 3. They're puzzles with eerie plot and setting.
Room 3 is not ported on PC yet, other 2 are on Steam.

No it's not that kind of scary, it's the kind of scary that makes you wonder why you exist and how you'll never be able to experience the future and even if you did it'd probably be worse than now. Like how creepy is that Chell slept up in a closed chamber for like 2000 years without knowing and when she woke up everyone around her was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead (Portal 2).
