The real only good that comes from Portal 2 is Portal's backstory.
Portal 2:
Comedy game
Can't be taken seriously
Not very atmospheric until you are alone the the 1950's areas, all messages are pre-recorded which gives me the feeling of loneliness until I meet GLaDOS potato.
Crappy Behind the Scenes areas, it's more of a manufacturing area and does not feel like people worked there but robots instead. Also, the amount of rails just feels like it was planned for the player rather than workers working there. No where to explore, always a pit below you and overall just boring.

Atmosphere is the best
The Behind the Scenes areas actually feel like maintenance areas unlike Portal 2. I have the ability to explore and I want to explore too. The areas in Portal 1 feel believable and that people actually worked here at one point.
