Is it good to read those books?
like you might know there are those okkult books you can find here and there
those ones with the question if you want to read them or not

and if you decide to do it, it will say that this decision changed your fate
is this a good thing?
I'm afraid I'm going to get him into more madness :D

It is not about good or bad, it is just a choice. You have different options and possibilities the more you choose.

Its story related.

There are a few similarities to the Mythos but the Cthulu stories involve a lot more than Cthulu himself. The story has 3 old gods and a few locations like the reptile city.

I will say this: Knowledge has a price. Some things are not meant to be discovered, lest the mind might shatter and the mere realization of the unnatural becoming natural.

Knowledge is everything for which sacrifices is needed to obtain it.

I'm reading all the books I can find and I'm sure it is a terrible idea especially in a Lovecraft game. But what can you do?
