Chapter 10: Can't run away

Can't run away after third glyph. I get stuck after high the light. Why? Do I do something wrong?

No, this one is just harder than the other 2. So you start to get rid of the glyph, and then youve got...issues. My solution was to practice RUNNING backwards a couple times before dispelling. You can also cause you lantern to flare if you are facing your problem....and that slows things up a bit and gives you TIME to start backing up. Still took me like 4 tries to get ti right though.

As soon as the shambler appears, hold left click to slow it down. Then, instead of holding on to a movement key, tap constantly in the direction you want to run until you are free to move. If you hold a movememnt key while you are paralyzed, then your character won't start moving immediately when she is free.

You habe no chance to survive this encounter. Either the Shambler is next to the glyph and kills you as soon as you move, or he kills you on the way to Algernon becauae you arenot fast enough or when you turn around to blind him again he gets to you first. Sorry. Annyoing. Trying for hours.
Moving backwards slowly always blinding the monster does not work, either. Your gas will run our before you reach safety.

Before entering glyph take your lantern out and up in your hand ready. Then when the shambler appears, just blind it right away using left click and then turn around (don't go towards the shambler while it is blinded), and run like crazy on a rather long path until you reach Algernon's circle.Inside third Glyph, just because Algernon is right there on your left, you shouldnt go towards him directly. You have to run back and take the long path. and don't turn around to see if he is catching up to you.

Doesn't work at all.
Tried everything.
Blinding him doesn't slow him down, I can't run away, and WHILE Algernon is shouting at me to run and/or blind the thing, it's already in the middle of slashing me.

"He's already here! Release me now! Algernon!!"
"Done. Quickly! Bring him--"

... and I'm dead. In the MIDDLE of that conversation.

I'll stop here now.
The game is clearly broken.
Too bad, I'd enjoyed it so far.

omg, i've just trying around 100 times, and doesn't work in any way... I've looking for solution on yt, i've juste making the exact same things and... no. Just fkn no. Really don't like the part with the Shambler... ruin the game imho....
