Sanity answers?
Ok, so sometimes you have these unreadable answers, that are somehow tied to your Sanity. What do they do? Do i get sanity? Do i lose sanity? Is it some type of mind control? Im not exactly keen on just trying it out due to the game's annoying autosave.

Depends on context. If you say this in a dialogue with one character, it just might be MC spewing out some occult knowledge, and if it's a hallucination, it'll be the MC caving in and accepting the madness even more.

Thanks. Didn't matter in the end anyways because of "LoL, you don't want to go insane? K, Stable -> Psychotic in one dialogue, olololol"

There's actually a dialogue near the end where he says same stuff no matter what you choose, the only difference is that with "normal" version he tries to fight back the madness, while in the "symbols" version he just accepts it.

Yeah. I guess that's why i haven't played the CoC tabletop after 2 sessions. The system just trolls you with insta-kills & insta-insanity and characters have lesser life-expectancy than a guardman in WH40k.

One bad roll and that's it. No edge like in Shadowrun, no power stunt like in M&M, no nothing. And i kinda expected the devs to have the minimum intelligence required to understand that that's just not fun in a video game.

Aww that's too bad

I remember seeing an ad for it as a kid and being pretty hyped to play it, but none of the stores around had it in stock, so I never got to try it out.

Here's a fun story about pretty much the only type of character that can survive
https://1d4c_han.org/wiki/Old_Man_Henderson (remove the first underscore or just google "Old Man Henderson full story")

Every time I see that website censored I'm baffled.

Seriously, why. It's not like it's Encyclopedia Dramatica or something
