Its Over [Ending Spoilers]
So I got this ending.... and Sarah Hawkins walks off the cliff and kills herself and everything goes back to normal. After the credits Simon Pierce is back in his office staring at a painting of Sarah Hawkins dead on the beach.

So I'm assuming that painting was mailed to his office... and Sarah Hawkins is not actually dead. (Because Sarah Hawkins paints all the paintings....)

This ending could be the "Canon" Ending which would open up the story for a 2nd game.

Your thoughts?

I haven't seen this ending, the only one I've done so far is summoning Cthulhu.

However many of Sarah's paintings are prophetic, it's possible that she painted this painting before she died implying she knew how it would end. Who knows who mailed it though.

She's dead.

1 painting showed the detective exploring the asylum. And he did explore said institution.
Last painting showed a dead murderess (sarah) on rocks. It happened (Farewell trophy/ ending.)
It's Edward Pierce actually(Simon is her son) :steammocking: She painted your picture even before she met you(Like the first portrait you saw before falling off the pit), so in this ending she may have forseen her fate and painted it. On the other hand, from counter ritual ending, all that you've been through may happen in your mind or the reality can be altered somehow, as the one who treat you is supposed to be dead in Chapter13.
