Dialog Issue

I'm getting a problem where all of my dialog options are in crazy Cthulhu script and I can't choose any of them, I'm just stuck at this point in dialog. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way around it?

The only way to fix this is reload a checkpoint, it can happen at any dialogue menu.

It's happened to me three times and I have to back out of the game entirely and relaunch it for it to work. That said, it does always work thereafter (so far).

I had the same issue many times with the press demo. I stumbled upon it once again after 5 hours and reloading the checkpoint wasn't working.

I tried to plug in a 360 pad and use it to select my dialogue option, and it worked. I keep playing with keyboard/mouse and next time it happens, I'll try again the pad tip.

... well, I can now confirm the strange "cthulhu script" as well - its totally annoying since you don´t know what the heck is meant by it (there is only the hint that some VST requirement has been met) - its getting totally strange if you have 6 choices and all of them are in cthonian ... and no - checkpoints didn´t help ...

... I am (not really) truly sad to bring this topic up again, but - wasn´t there something like ... " ... the Devs are aware of this issue and are preparing a patch ... " ... because I´ve already stumbled into the same problem again (and again) to have a dialogue with 6 (!) cthulhian scripted language symboles and I had no fragging clue what to choose from ... on one hand I think, its a bug - on the other hand, I think, its intended ... so ... in the end I really appreciate it if this matter will get clarified in order to set my mind at peace - in an explanation, if its intended OR in a patch that will solve this issue forever ... :) Thanks in advance! For me there is only one logical possibility. That your madness has already advanced so far through reading the Necronomicons that you have slowly transformed yourself mentally into an underwater creature that is only able to understand and speak its own language. So C'thulhu is already in your head and controls your behavior.
