Game breaking bug

Cant select any options in the dialogue wheel, on a part that is required (in the jail cell) Reloading does nothing, rebooting the game does nothing. Cant progress at all.

Having same issue at same point in game, when talking to Leviathan.

You just have to reload the save as many times as it takes until you can select something. Took me about 8 before it finally worked.

M too! I have to reload last save point and repeat the same actions to get to Sarah Hawkins and then I can't choose any dialog opitions. Totally stuck :(

Ran into this bug several times while playing the game, ruined the pacing and atmosphere by quite a bit.

I've tried playing the game at a friend's place and we simply gave up after being unable to talk to Silas Winchester at the beginning of Chapter 3 due to this awful bug.

Seriously, how could something like this get past Quality Control? X(

As mentioned, the devs are aware of the issue.
Can you try changing your fullscreen setting to "Windowed" to see if that resolves the issue?

The very first "dialog wheel" ("Have a drink" or "Don't drink") was broken for me. Same goes for the journal menu items. It seems the main culprit for this is Riva Tuner Statistics Server, which is a shame, because it's such a useful overlay. You may want to look into how you're calling mouse click events, because this is not a common issue in other games and RTSS is widely used. It may also not be the only cause for this.

While you're at it, maybe rework the menu controls for mouse and keyboard? Why can't I close the journal with the same button I'm opening it? Why do I have to press "Escape" every time I want to leave a screen? Why does all of this feel like it's designed with a controller in mind, with mouse and keyboard controls being added as a second thought?

And for Cthulhu's sake, have a motion blur toggle. Why do I have to go through INI's again?

I feel like a second class customer, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Just run at this bug. Can't select any option during dialog with Sarah. I'm very glad that devs are aware of this issue and obviously didn't do a thing to fix it for several months. :(
